LEITWIND installs the first LTW80 500 kW wind turbine
LEITWIND is happy to announce that the installation of the first LTW80 500 kW wind turbine in Brindisi (Puglia, Italien) has been successfully completed.
In July LEITWIND successfully installed the first LTW80 500 kW wind turbine in Brindisi (Puglia, Italy). The annual production of this wind turbine is able meet the annual energy consumption of more than 760 Italian households and avoid the emission of more than 1,500 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
The addition of the LTW90 and LTW80 models, with a rated power of 500 kW, to the product portfolio reflects Leitwind's commitment to developing better wind turbines to meet society's energy needs through continuous investment in research and development and human capital. These two new configurations have been developed to meet the market's current need for fast and agile permitting processes without compromising performance.
