GOOD NEWS FROM GREECE -LEITWIND SIGNS TWO CONTRACTS TO BUILD SIX WIND TURBINES
The first contract was signed in summer 2019 for two LTW80 wind turbines with a hub height of 80 meters and a rated output of 1.5 MW each, and a resulting total output of three MW.
The planned location is at 1,000 meters above sea level – in a location with a sea view, surrounded by mountains and just five kilometers from the coast of the Gulf of Corinth. A few weeks ago, a second contract was concluded in Greece:
LEITWIND will build another four LTW90 wind turbines in Western Macedonia with a hub height of 65 and a rated output of 1.5 MW each. To install the four wind turbines on two hills at 2,000 meters above sea level, a new access road has to be built. These wind turbines will be the first to feature the D4.1 generator. It will be bigger and more powerful than its predecessor, D3.0.
